Alice Waters And The Trip To Delicious

book-alice-coverFresh and tasty food champion, Alice Waters, is celebrated as she takes readers along on her trip to delicious. Filled with biographical details, such as how she began Chez Panisse as a small restaurant for eating together with friends, Alice Waters And The Trip To Delicious shows kids the passion behind fresh food that led to the Edible Schoolyard Project.

Jacqueline Briggs Martin‘s text is as delightful as it is informative, and Hayelin Choi‘s illustrations pop with colour (check out her other food illustrations in her online portfolio). Most enchanting, however, is an afterword from Alice Waters giving five important bits of food wisdom.
