The Last Free Cat

A cat dystopian? I picked this up because I love my cat and now I love this book as well. 13578063The Last Free Cat is written by cat-loving Jon Blake, who lives in England and peppers the novel with a delightful British flavour, including words such as snogging and skootThen again, this is a dystopian, so perhaps those are merely new world order words. Besides the cat love and such, The Last Free Cat is about a girl and a boy who revolt against the government for controlling cat ownership via mass fear of HN51 (a purported deadly strain of cat flu) and mega-companies that allow cat ownership for the very rich.

Filled with witty dialogue and fascinating plot twists, The Last Free Cat will have you turning pages so fast, you won’t need a fan.
