I’m Bored

ImBoredFrontCover-250The perfect book as summer nears its end and kids secretly want to go back to school:  I’m Bored, written by Michael Ian Black and illustrated by Debbie Ridpath Ohi, is laugh-out-loud funny and spot-on kid-speak. Besides, it’s got a potato in it.

Debbi Ridpath Ohi’s illustrations remind me of Charlie Brown during his blockhead moments and Calvin, when he angrily walks off on Hobbes. One of the best picture books of 2012, this one will please kids of all ages.
