Up Close: Harper Lee

Harper Lee is one of the mysterious authors, one-hit wonder by choice. How can someone write the amazing To Kill A Mockingbird and then stop writing?  Or maybe, stop having the writing published.  This book offers many insights into Harper Lee’s life, which changed drastically after the success of her novel and the subsequent movie. Intensely private and unwilling to give further interviews, Harper Lee is still a mystery. Her life centered around writing and when she had critical, popular and financial success, she withdrew.  Some say she has written more and it may be published posthumously, but what a tease to her fans.  If we promise to leave you alone, Ms. Lee, will you publish now?
